An educator’s proficiency in their subject area can be measured in terms of grades, certifications, and exams, there are some more intangible qualities that can’t be measured that can help them become better, more effective teachers. referred to as “soft skills,” these qualities can’t be measured, but can still be developed over time to help educators better connect with students, colleagues, and parents of students. The Placement cell of the college aims to help the students to enhance their soft skills, groom and prepare the students for interviews and demo lessons. To achieve this goal, RCoEd Placement Cell organized a 3 day training session for “Soft Skills & Interview Preparation Training for Teachers” for Student teachers of Batch 2020-2022. It is one of the many Value Added Courses that RCoEd offers its students. Day 1 focused on the Soft Skills necessary for teachers. Day 2 focused on Interview etiquettes and Day 3 focused on Resume writing, portfolio designing and Video Resume. Day 2 and Day 3 activities were specially designed to prepare our students for the upcoming Campus Placement Drive.
