The Academic year begins with Workshops on ‘Vision, Mission and Goal’ as well as ‘Team Teaching’ for the Staff and the Students.
Several Innovative Workshops are conducted throughout the year. Certificates of participation are awarded to the students. Workshops on Concept Attainment Model (CAM), Value Discussion Model (VDM), Jurisprudential Inquiry model (JIM), Guilford’s Structure of Intellect (SOI), Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence (EI), Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence (MI), Transactional Analysis (TA), Creative Thinking, Whole Brain Thinking etc. are conducted.
Competency based personality profiles are provided for each of the teacher-trainees. This enables the student teachers to know their strengths and weaknesses and select an appropriate school.
In order to broaden the perspective of teacher-trainees and to provide them enriching experiences, various co-curricular activities are conducted. Students are trained to make effective use of leisure time activity and are thereby engaged in SUPW, Chart and Poster making. Celebration of different festivals highlights the importance of living in peace and harmony. The college encourages active participation in Collegiate and Intercollegiate Co-curricular events like Personality Contests, Debates, Dance, Elocution and Music.
