Rizvi College of Education along with Awami Group of Schools and College conducted a cleanliness drive across Bandra on 1st October 2018 in continuation to the Swachh Bharat Mission of Government of India and to mark the 149th Birth anniversary to Mahatma Gandhi.

The team was divided into 6 groups comprising of the Teachers and Principal of Awami Group; Principal and Teachers of RCoEd, Students of Awami Schools and Junior College and Student Teachers of RCoEd.
Three groups went for peace march to spread awareness about cleanliness across East and West Bandra. One Group conducted an Inter-Institutional Drawing Competition on the same theme, the remaining two groups conducted interactive talks at different venues to make the students aware about need and purpose of maintaining Cleanliness. The Student teachers of RCoEd also conducted role plays to convey this message strongly.

The second half of the session was devoted to cleaning the surrounds, planting samplings and a motivational talk given by the Senior Inspector of Bandra Police Station, Mr. Girish Vishnu.
It was a very productive drive where the job satisfaction was at its peak. Below are a few glimpses of the event.
